Spain U18 women’s team came back from one set down toedge past Argentinawith 2:1 (20-21, 23-18, 6-4) in a friendly game that worked as the penultimate test event ahead of Tuesday’s (June 14) opening game of the IHF Beach Handball Youth World Championshipsin the new state-of-the-art facilities of Karteros Beach Sports Centre in Heraklion, Crete.

It was an exciting matchwhich was decided in the shoot-out, a prelude to the upcoming World Championships. Argentina needed a golden goal to take the first set, with KarizaArcanjo scoring the last crucial golden goal.

Spain turned the tables in the second set and prevailed in the shoot-out after Argentina’s Gallo, Medna and Molina missed their shots.
