Men’s Youth: Jordan - Greece 2-1

Hosts Greece suffered a 2-1 defeat in the hands of the surprise package of the Men’s Youth World Championships, Jordan, in their second game in the preliminary round.

With their victory, Jordan secured a place in the next round amassing four points, following their earlier victoryagainstdefending champions Spain.

Greece went up 14:6 in the first set, and survived a late surge from the Jordaniansto take a 1-0 lead. Besides losing the first set, Jordan gathered momentum to easily take the second set.

In the shoot-out both teams were nervous, but Jordan got the better out of Greece to win it 5:4.
