2018 Youth Olympic champions, Argentina secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against France at their IHF Women’s Youth Beach World Championshipsopening game in Heraklion.

Magali Alfrediscore 18 of Argentina’s 48 points and Maria Gallo added 14 for Albiceleste, while Slaibe and Molina played an important role in the shoot-out.
