The 2nd round of the main phase of the World Junior Beach Handball Championship was completed with exciting matches.

In the first group, Croatia won against Sweden with a 2-0 set victory and basically captured the first place in the group with 6 points and advances to the quarter-finals. Iran continued their very good run and won 2-0 set against France, reaching 4 points, the same as France has. Brazil beat Qatar 2-0 in straight sets and also reached 4 points in the group. Sweden, Iran, Brazil and France are all tied on 4 points and will fight it out tomorrow in the final matchday for the 3 tickets to follow Croatia into the quarterfinals.

In the second group, Greece suffered a 2-0 set defeat to Ukraine and were eliminated from the continuation of the competition and will fight for the 9-12 places. Spain defeated Germany 2-1 sets to top of the group with 6 points and also have a common goal difference. Tomorrow's final matchday will decide the group's top.. Finally, Argentina won 2-0 set against Jordan and reached 4 points and the quarter-finals of the competition.
