Women’s Youth: Places 9-16, Greece – India 2-1

Although Greece faced difficulties, they prevailed 2-1 over India in a game for place 9-16.

The Greek team was superior in the first set and easily won it 27:12. In the second set, the hosts made too many mistakes in attack and gave India the opportunity to claim it with a goal by Takour at the end of the time.

Greece dominated the shoot-out, with 6:2, finding goals from Malle, Mylona and Patsani scoring two points apiece.

The first scorer of the Greek team was Mylona with 13 points.

The National team of Greece will now play for positions 9-12 at 16:00 (Court 2) against Romania.
