Women’s Youth - Places 9-12, Greece – Romania 0-2

Romania won their second classification game, edging out Greece 2-0, and will challenge for 11th place on the final day of the tournament tomorrow (May 18).

The Greek team dynamically started the first set, leading 4:0, but it didn’t take much time to the Romanians to take the reins. The end of the set was dramatically written with Greece up with one (18:17) with 15 seconds left on the clock. Nevertheless, Muresan scored two valuable points to beat the clock and give Romania a 1-0 lead.

The action in the second set was similar. The last-minute hero was goalkeeper Cristea, who scored from her own box to make it 16:15 for Romania.
